Clients claim aphrodisiac aftershave

Derby grooming products manufacturer, The Dandy Gent, has noticed a growing number of comments from its barbershop visitors that its signature fragrance, Classic 47, appears to have an aphrodisiac effect on women.

“Female members of The Dandy Gent’s team have commented on this from day one,” Said The Dandy Gent founder, creator of the fragrance, Shane O’Shaughnessy. “I didn’t take it too seriously at first, but now several of my clients have spoken to me about it whilst they’ve been in the chair, confirming to me that there must be something in it.”

Classic 47 is described as ‘a sensual fragrance with a subtle hint of fresh spice’ by The Dandy Gent’s online shop, and simply as ‘gorgeous’ by many of the two barber shops’ female visitors – including Shane’s wife, Sherri!

“We are starting to think that we should be in contact with specialist scientists about this, and have our Classic 47 Splash and Beard Oil added to the list of sexual-desire enhancers.’ smiled Shane.

Recently Good Housekeeping magazine covered a study by a team of scientists whose findings were published in the journal of the International Society for Sexual Medicine. The study revealed that oysters and chocolate were NOT aphorodisiacs, but ginseng and ginko bilboa are.
